Beauty Boosters

The term ‘Beauty Booster’ is an attempt to acknowledge some of the excellent shorter term gains that can be achieved using injectables. Built around un-crosslinked Hyaluronic Acid to maximise their ability to hydrate the skin, the ‘heavy lifting’ boosters also contain the building blocks of skin renewal and complexes known to support skin health. There are many different ones on the wider aesthesthetic market - at Dr Rebecca Griffiths - Medical Aesthetics I have chosen to benefit from the excellent safety profile, and considered product design of Teoxane and I therefore exclusively use Redensity 1.

Teoxane Redensity 1 is an innovative hyaluronic acid based injectable that has been designed to improve skin quality. Specifically designed to be the closest to the natural hyaluronic acid found in your skin, this beauty booster treatment provides:

  • improvement in hydration, radiance and fullness

  • Correction of skin roughness and withered skin marked by age

  • Prevention of the appearance of wrinkles

  • Redensification action through tissue restructuring and protection from oxidative stress.

For most patients a course of 3 treatments with 2-3 weeks between each session is recommended. Following this a maintenance treatment every 6 months is recommended to refresh your results.

The joy of Redensity 1 is that it can be used in larger volumes over full areas such as neck and decolletage or smaller volumes can be used to target focused areas such as the peri-oral region, or the lower third of the face to redress an imbalance in skin quality.
